A Plea for a Living Donor: The Story of Diana Zippay

 

Diana Zippay, the wife of PTHS Teacher Jason Zippay, is in desperate need of a living donor for a kidney as she suffers from the life-threatening genetic disease known as Alport syndrome. PTHS Student James Curry talks with Dr. Lorezno Machado, Transplant Surgeon, Allegheny Health Network about how someone can become a living donor in an interview that was recorded in the Peters Township Community Television studio on May 4, 2017.
